Audacity is a free, easy-to-use, multi-track audio editor and recorder for Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux and other operating systems. The interface is translated into many languages. in this post I'd like to tell how to remove vocals of mp3, wav or any other audio format.
Steps:
1. Download and install Audacity.
2. Open the audio file which you want to remove vocals.
3. Go to Effect menu in menu bar.
4. Click on v(down arrow) to find vocal remover in the dropdown list.
5. Click on vocal remover(for center-panned vocals)
6. Cilck ok (you can change the properties as you prefer)
7. Then File >>> Export to save the file.
That's all you have to do.
